Threshold
Made for 1-Button Jam 2024. Beware, a jam game! A bit rushed, dialogue is a bit iffy, need to create an editor to organize it jeehsh.
The Threshold is a dystopian interrogation game where every question peels back a layer of truth—or deception. Uncover secrets, follow leads, and navigate a web of tension as you delve into the lives of suspects. With minimalist visuals and a neon-lit atmosphere, the game challenges your instincts to discern lies from confessions. Who can you trust when the line between guilt and innocence is blurred? It's up to you to decide who is the culprit of David's murder!
You need at least four pieces of information gathered for the "Case Files" to have a "Choose culprit" option.
Space-bar is the action key, does everything.

I was getting really into it, but then the game stopped working after I asked Milo why he was sure Kane wouldn't hurt someone. :(
Ah damn, I messed up there. I'll look into it, thanks for telling and sorry!
this is wonderful! I love the concept, the artstyle and the mechanic :)
Thank you, appreciate it! I'd love to continue it at some point, though not sure if I'd keep the one button style haha.
Love the aesthetic and the style! And the detail with how the characters sweat when you bring up certain things. You did well, especially within the limits!
Thank you, much appreciated! ^^
